My very first job was as a checkout operator (sounds so fancy!) at the local Woolies. ⁠

But my first job out of uni was proof reading ads for the advertising department of the local newspaper. That was all the way back in 1994 at The Gladstone Observer! I moved into advertising sales soon after that. It was a little stressful ... budgets to meet and all that ... but we had a fun team and so many great people! That makes all the difference. ⁠

In March last year I worked with the Rotary Club of Paddington to design this fantastic little booklet. ⁠
⁠
The Paddington Heritage Trail outlines a self-guided walk around heritage buildings and sites in Paddington, specifically around Latrobe and Given Terraces. ⁠
⁠
If you walk the entire trail it can take around 3 hours, however you can complete small portions at a time. ⁠
⁠
What a great way to learn about the local community and how lucky are we to have community groups like Rotary to collate and preserve this historic information. ⁠
⁠

March is also full of fun days to celebrate like International Day of Awesomeness on March 10, St Patrick's Day on March 17, International Earth Day on March 20 and Harmony Day on March 21st. ⁠

I have not had that many margaritas in my time, but I love a good cocktail. After a little bit of research I am going to try this combo ...⁠

45ml Tequila⁠
30ml Cointreau⁠
45ml Lime juice⁠
Ice⁠
⁠
Mix together in a cocktail shaker and shake hard for 30 seconds. Run a wedge of lime around the rim of your glass and dip in salt. Strain the mix into your glass and enjoy!⁠
