What is involved in self-publishing my book?
The majority of authors we work with self publish, the process is so much simpler than it used to be. To self publish you will need an ISBN and barcode from Thorpe-Bowker. Once this step is complete you can register your book with the National Library of Australia (NLA) and complete the prepublication data form. The form can be found here. When your book is printed send a copy to the NLA and local libraries in your area. If you need help arranging your ISBN, etc please give us call. We can also help with marketing your book once it is printed.
Can you offer printing services?
We definitely can! We use a reputable printer in the local area and can arrange printing of your marketing material, books, posters, banners and promotional material. Simply send us a message with the details of your print needs.
How much do you charge for a logo design?
Some design companies have a standard price structure for logo design. We prefer to provide an accurate quote prior to commencement based on initial discussions. Each logo design is different and can range from a simple font to a unique icon and style guide. We are happy to discuss your needs and provide a quote.
What happens if I don’t like the designs?
Every design job starts with a design brief to avoid this happening. We pride ourselves on our ability to listen and provide a design that is representative of you, your business and the brief. But if this did happen then we discuss it … what you don’t like about the design? what you do like about the design? … and go from there. If we were completely off the mark and misunderstood the brief then we re-design. We will be completely transparent at every stage of the design process.
